I’m sorry, can we talk about this moment first? I mean, look at this. Look at her. She’s again feeling disappointed and hurt at being left out. And although Ken only opens to door to call the next girl in, he reassures her. He asks her if she wanted to come in and help with the casting (although it’s filled with sexist men who are only there for the casting to ogle the women who are auditioning). And maybe he just says it just to say it. Maybe he says it to get her out of there so they can continue with the casting. But the fact that he does, and the fact that he gets what she’s worried about makes me love Ken more than I already do.
